Made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development.
This is the statement Michigan law requires on our fudge labels. Our fudge is made under the Michigan Cottage Food Law.
Allergens
Manufactured on equipment that processes egg, peanuts, tree nuts, and wheat. Because of this shared equipment, any of our products may contain traces of these allergens, even if they aren’t in that flavor.
- Every package has a label listing all ingredients and a “Contains” allergen statement. Please read it before eating.
- Where we’ve listed them, a flavor’s main allergens are shown on its card as “Contains: …”.
- If you or someone you’re buying for has a food allergy, please contact us before ordering: call or text 734-693-3836 or email greatlakesfudgecompany@gmail.com. If you’re unsure, please don’t eat it.
Raw honey
Easy Street Honey is raw and not pasteurized. Do not feed honey to infants under 1 year old. Honey can carry spores that cause infant botulism, a serious illness in babies. Raw honey may crystallize over time. That’s natural, and gently warming the jar in warm water makes it runny again.
Storage
Keep fudge in a closed container at cool room temperature, out of direct sun and heat. Follow any storage instructions on the label.
